At the Masseria Bagnara you will find sleek contemporary design with an original interpretation of the character and the history of an old masseria, a former peasant house.

Immersed in the natural surrounding, the resort offers a delightful and exclusive stay. We didn’t live here ourselves this time around, but we visited the place on our journey from Masseria Le Fabriche near Maruggio to the Histó Relais Hotel near Taranto.

The pool and the other amenities looked very enticing, though…

The main characteristics of Masseria Bagnara’s restaurant are high-quality ingredients and freshness, as well as the contemporary and refined decor.

The rural structure with its characteristic white wall and local tufa arches reflects the site’s history and makes for an atmospheric dinner.

If you want to really stretch the limit you may as well order a private candlelight dinner in one of the two Trullis…
