# Design Hotel Almyra on Cyprus – Style & Dine by the Beach

Pάfos (Paphos), western Cyprus, adjacent to the seafront and a short walk from the old fishing harbor and archaeological park.

## Getting there
Cyprus drives on the left (British style), so rental cars have the steering wheel on the right. All four 18-hole golf courses on the island are in the western part and relatively easy to reach from Pάfos.

## When to go
Cyprus has near year-round heat; the hotel's blue solar shades are noted as a practical response to this.

## Why visit
The hotel combines a beachside design aesthetic with multiple restaurants, spa facilities, and proximity to golf courses, the medieval harbor fort, and ancient ruins, appealing to golfers, food lovers, families, and spa seekers.

## Good to know
The Kyma suites sit directly by the sea with private patios and a 44 sq m roof terrace offering views of the Bay of Pάfos; the authors consider them a better value than standard rooms. The Annabelle Hotel next door (also a Thanos property) offers French cuisine at its Amorosa Restaurant. A British-style entertainment district begins just behind the hotel.
