# Ibiza design hotel Ca Na Xica – white oasis on the “white island”

> Ca Na Xica is a small white design hotel set on a former 20-acre estate near Sant Miquel in northern Ibiza, offering a peaceful, rural alternative to the island's party scene.

A tranquil retreat on the 'white island' surrounded by centuries-old olive, fig, orange and lemon trees, with a spa, pool, and attentive hospitality that showcases Ibiza's authentic, unspoiled character.

## What to see
- **Ibicenco-style main building** — Classic white stuccoed architecture with blue window casements, partially framed by an ancient olive tree.
- **Little chapel on the estate** — A traditional chapel on the grounds of the former farmstead.
- **Designer suites** — Modern cubical additions with Nordic-style furniture and private inner courtyards that open onto the bedroom and bath for an outdoor shower experience.

## What to do
- **Relax by the pool** — An elongated pool flanked by designer suites, a small spa with bar, and a man-made beach on one side.
- **Breakfast buffet** — Served in a cuboid pavilion at the far end of the property; highlights include fresh crusty bread, jamón ibérico, manchego, and Eggs Benedict with jamón ibérico.

## Good to know
The hotel was converted in 2015 by Barcelona owners Alex Piella and Carla Espinosa together with Ibiza architect Marc Tur Torres. The name Ca Na Xica means 'House of the Little One' in Punic; the property was formerly known as 'Casa de Francisca.'
