# The Grey Herons of Gili Lankanfushi

> Gili Lankanfushi in the Maldives is home to a remarkably tame grey heron named Bob, a resident bird who visits guests daily at breakfast and has become an unofficial mascot of the island resort.

## What to see
- **Bob the Grey Heron** — A resident grey heron named after a resort investor who visits the beach breakfast area daily and occasionally wanders onto guests' sundecks.
