# NENI restaurant in 25hours Langstrasse – Zurich’s newest in-eatery!

> NENI Zurich is a Mediterranean restaurant with a Middle Eastern flair, located inside the 25hours Langstrasse hotel in Zurich. Run by the Tel Aviv-rooted Molcho family, it has been fully booked since opening day and is considered the city's hottest new dining destination.

## Why visit
The NENI culinary concept — shared mezze dishes, premium meats from a Josper grill, and a convivial 'balagan' atmosphere — draws on Israeli, Romanian, and Spanish family roots and has already proven successful in Vienna, Berlin, and Hamburg.

## What to see
- **Hotel lobby and Freitag bag installation** — The entrance features a house cat on a luggage trolley and bags suspended from a concrete ceiling, reflecting designer Werner Aisslinger's eclectic 'wild mix' aesthetic.
- **Cinchona Bar** — The hotel bar is decorated with an outsized Middle Eastern love scene, in keeping with the hotel's daring design concept.
- **Colorful guest rooms** — Rooms are vibrantly decorated; the oversized glass shower stall, nearly 2 metres across diagonally, is a notable feature.

## What to do
- **Dinner at NENI restaurant** — Book well in advance; the restaurant has been fully booked since opening and serves hot and cold Middle Eastern mezze alongside meats from a Josper grill.
- **Middle Eastern breakfast buffet** — Alongside standard options, guests can order dishes such as shakshouka (egg and tomato) and mashawsha (garbanzos and avocado).

## Good to know
Reservations are essential, especially for evenings. Chefs were trained at the Molcho family's Vienna headquarters, with some sent to Tel Aviv to absorb the culture firsthand. The KOSMOS Culture Centre adjacent to the hotel was set to open in September 2017, adding further draw to the neighbourhood.
