The resort blends Swiss lakeside scenery with Thai-inspired design and wellness across three distinct hotel wings, an on-site Thai spa with themed cocoon units, and authentic Thai dining — making it a standout escape in any season, especially on grey autumn days.

## What to see
- **Cocon Thai Spa** — Two-story spa with hot-coloured cocoon units including a gold-and-white salt air cocoon, blue-green steam bath cocoon, and violet sauna cocoon, plus Thai-themed treatment rooms on the upper floor.
- **Cocoon Suite** — Themed on Lake Hallwil boathouse architecture using dark-stained regional applewood, with colourful fabrics inspired by Thai water markets.
- **Junior Suite** — Generously sized room featuring a colour-changing rainforest shower and an outdoor balcony bathtub that fills at the push of a button with views of the lake.
- **Classic and Elements wings** — Alternative room styles: Natural Chic in the Classic wing, or elemental decor (earth, water, fire, air) in the Elements wing.

The resort is part of owner Felix Suhner's Balance Hotel Group. The three hotel wings each had a different interior designer. Lake Hallwil is very popular in summer — the 500 parking spaces are reportedly insufficient on sunny days.
