# Wining and dining experience with Singapore Airlines

> Singapore Airlines Business Class on the Auckland–Singapore route offers an exceptional in-flight dining experience, with multi-course meals designed by an International Culinary Panel and wines curated by world-renowned critics, all delivered by attentive cabin crew.

- **In-flight landscape views** — Stunning aerial views of the Australian outback and the turquoise Timor Sea visible from the cabin window at 30,000ft.

## What to do
- **Seven-course lunch** — Includes satay canapés, poached prawn appetiser, grilled beef by Sydney chef Matt Moran, strawberry tiramisu, cheese selection, fresh fruit, and pralines.
- **Five-course dinner** — Served in Denpasar airspace, featuring tuttafetta ham appetiser, roasted chicken thigh main, and chocolate cappuccino cake dessert.
- **Wine and champagne selection** — Curated by critics Jeannie Cho Lee, Michael Hill Smith and Oz Clarke; highlights include Charles Heidsieck Brut Reserve and a 2013 Joseph Drouhin Rully Blanc.
- **Craft beer tasting** — Hapi Daze by Wellington's Garage Project, the first craft beer ever served on Singapore Airlines.
- **Flat-bed sleep** — A 28-inch armchair reclines into a 78-inch flat bed with duvet and pillow, enabling over five hours of sleep on the roughly 10-hour flight.
- **KrisWorld entertainment** — 18-inch personal LCD screen with a selection of 1000 movies, TV shows and music, plus flight path information.
- **Lounge access** — Business Class passengers receive access to the Air New Zealand lounge in Auckland and the SATS Premier lounge in Singapore, with shower, rest facilities, and gourmet food.

## Good to know
Passengers in Business Class and above can pre-order their main course up to 24 hours before the flight. Singapore Airlines has a code-share with SWISS; SilkAir flies onward from Singapore to Vientiane and Luang Prabang three times weekly.
