The property blends the charm of a restored 19th-century country estate with contemporary Six Senses design, spa excellence, and organic dining. ## Destination Quinta Vale de Abraão, Samodães, near Lamego and Peso da Régua, in the Douro Valley of northern Portugal. ## Getting there Porto airport is approximately 88 miles away; the drive takes about 1.5 hours by rental car. Vila Real airport is 21 miles away. The villages of Lamego and Peso da Régua are about 3 miles from the hotel. ## When to go Open year-round.
