Entre Cielos Boutique Hotel in Mendoza, Argentina

Entre Cielos was conceived and created by a group of Swiss entrepreneurs who fell in love with Mendoza, and was perfectly designed by A4 estudio.

No wonder it has won the “Best New Boutique Hotel 2012” award and now is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World.

Update: In December 2013 Entre Cielos also received the Best Boutique Hotel of South America and Sensuous Spa Award. Well deserved! Congratulations!

And as per July 2017 Entre Cielos yet again is a World Luxury Spa Awards Winner! They won the Best South American Boutique Luxury Spa category. You guys rock!

Here are some of its arguments:

Entre Cielos features two restaurants, a wine cellar, an outdoor pool and … a hammam & spa! When traveling to South America you probably would not necessarily expect any Turkish baths. But the Swiss entrepreneurs were courageous enough to open the first traditional hammam & spa in Latin America. And apparently Argentinians love it and so did we!

Rooms and Suites at Entre Cielos Boutique Hotel

All 16 suites, which are named for different types of wine such as “Reserva” or “Grand Cru”, are individually and impeccably designed, featuring textured stone walls and wood furnishings.

Furthermore some rooms offer a breathtaking view of the Andean scenery. Ask for a room facing the pool! We thought they offered more interesting views than those facing the neighbouring vineyards.

Probably the most spectacular suite is the “Limited Edition”. As with the wines, it is a unique creation. This futuristicly shaped wine loft stands on stilts above the vineyard, offering a protective cocoon. It boasts a terrace wirlpool and a window in the roof which allows to star gaze at night!

Entre Cielos’ Restaurants

The boutique hotel features two restaurants; “Katharina”, the fine-dining restaurant with international and local fresh dishes, overlooking the pool and the vineyards.

The “Beef Club & Wine House” is located in a wine cellar further down the vineyard. It has a terrace next to the grill for hot summer nights and cozy niches inside for fresh spring and autumn nights.

Beef club restaurant

As its name suggests the Beef Club & Wine House serves fine steaks and great wines – two products that are as much a proud part of Argentinean culture as tango and gauchos.

The Swiss style finish is not only shown through the impeccable service, but you can also tell from the breakfast buffet which includes a traditional Swiss “Birchermüsli” and “Butterzopf” (a braided bread wildly popular in Switzerland).
