The crown jewel of the Turkish Marmara Hotel Group is located directly on the traffic epicentre of Taksim Square in the Beyoğlu district. It is perfect location for the discerning visitor to Istanbul. Upon reaching the reception you are already greeted with a competent the-customer-is-king smile ;-)

Wonderful colour concept in the lobby

The Marmara Taksim Hotel also has its own chocolaterie. As Swiss women, naturally we couldn’t pass up a tasting. The handmade chocolates can definitely hold their own against Lindt and Sprüngli!

Beyond the impressive reception area, you are led into the lobby via escalator and into the restaurant Tuti. Here, too, everything has been perfectly stylised down to the last detail.

The food at Tuti is exquisite. Along with the à la carte specials, guests can also eat from the superior buffet during any meal at their own discretion. An alternative is provided on the 19th floor in the form of Raika, which primarily serves local specialties.

270°-view from the Executive Suite

The hotel comes with six different room types. All are furnished with a king-sized bed or two single beds. We had the privilege to stay the night in one of the most frequented rooms, an Executive Suite. The especially impressive feature of this corner suite is the 270°-view of the city and the Bosphorus.

Classical seating with a superb view

Usage of the Marmara Club Lounge on the 18th floor is inclusive for the rooms on the upper levels of the 19-story hotel. There guests can enjoy breakfast, as well as coffee and drinks until 10 p.m., above the rooftops of Istanbul.

Included for all guests is usage of the hotel’s own spas with sauna, Jacuzzi and hammam. Massages and beauty treatments can also be booked. Check out prices and availability here.

Thank you very much to hotel manager Ata Eremsoy for the aperitif with the room, what a reception!
And a big “thank you” for the wonderful invitation to Mrs. Dinc of The Marmara Group. Our warm greetings are also extended to Mrs. Olszok of the PR agency welllcom, thank you for considering our blog!
