As one will enter through the huge gates, get a peek into the stables, the Mughal styled gardens and indulge in the glorious past of the place.

Earlier on Samode Palace was used for private retreats by the Samode family. There are a number of trees, plants, flowers in a sanctuary that is set up between fountains, waterways and pavilions. The guests can enjoy sitting out under luxurious tents that have canopy style ceilings as well as verandahs. There are also a variety of beautiful birds that are a pleasure to the eyes.

Best Travel Season for Northern State of Rajasthan

The best travel season is from November through April. We went there in May and it was VERY hot… the advantage is that you get all tourist attractions to yourself ;-)
