One of the main sights of Rapperswil is the Rapperswil Castle and the reconstructed wooden bridge to Hurden which happens to be the longest wooden bridge in Switzerland!

Rapperswil’s Christmas Market
One of Rapperswil’s top events in winter is the Christmas Market in the heart of Rapperswil’s old town.
More than 200 market stalls offer various things such as jewellery, knittwear, handicraft pieces and of course lots of delicious food stands where you can enjoy hot wine punch, raclette and much more.
How to get to Rapperswil
From Zurich main station take one of the following S-train No 5, 15, 7 to Rapperwil. It’s only a 30-35 minutes drive. If you have more time available, take a boat trip on Lake Zurich from Zurich Buerkliplatz. You won’t regret it! The scenery is breathtaking!
